Accessibility
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Root Pass wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion settings.
What we have done
- All interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline that we do not suppress
- A skip link to the main content is the first thing in the tab order
- Text and interface colours are tested to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast on our dark background
- Page content is visible without JavaScript. Animations are enhancement only
- Motion is reduced or removed when your device requests reduced motion
- Images carry alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
- Headings follow a logical order and landmarks are used so a screen reader can navigate the page
- Tables use proper headers, and expandable sections use standard ARIA state
Our PDFs
Our products are PDFs designed for reading and printing. They use real selectable text rather than scanned images. We know that a designed PDF is not the easiest format for every assistive technology, and we can provide the content in a plain text or plain HTML format on request at no extra cost. Email us and we will send it.
Where we know we fall short
- Our PDFs are not yet fully tagged for structure
- Some data tables in the PDFs rely on visual layout for meaning
Both are on our list. If either one blocks you today, email us and we will get you the content in a form that works.
Tell us
If you hit something on this site or in our products that you cannot use, we want to know, and we will fix it rather than explain it away.
Email hello@rootpass.co. Tell us what page or file, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it. We aim to reply within two business days.
